TESTOTAL / THE VALUE REVIEW
Advertisement feature by TesTotal. We benefit financially from sales of our top recommended products.
Mars Men uses a different herb-led approach from Testogen, including tongkat ali, shilajit and taurine. Its larger individual botanical amounts may look persuasive, but a value comparison needs to ask whether those are the ingredients you actually want. Testogen remains our first choice.
Our first recommendation
Testogen Ultimate
Our money would go to Testogen for the complete premium formula. TesTotal suits a tighter budget, while Mars Men is a specific choice for buyers who deliberately prioritise its botanical mix.

Mars Men lists 1,000 mg tongkat ali, 675 mg fenugreek and 400 mg shilajit in the reviewed formula. Those are clear points of distinction. They cannot be translated into a claim that the finished product produces a proportionately larger testosterone response.
Testogen takes a different route with KSM-66, D-aspartic acid and its nutrient selection. The reason to prefer it is that combination, not an attempt to make its lower fenugreek weight look higher. Different extract specifications also limit direct botanical comparisons.

“Not included” indicates confirmed absence from the assessed formula. “Not verified” identifies a gap in the information available for this comparison; it does not mean the manufacturer hides the amount.
Testogen Ultimate: 13 active ingredients. Mineral figures are nutrient amounts, not the weight of the full mineral compound.
Mars Men: The vitamin K entry is one combined K1/K2 amount; it is not 100 mcg of K2 alone.
Capsule and other ingredients
Testogen Ultimate: Vegetable-cellulose capsule and NuFLOW rice-hull ingredient.
Mars Men: Other-ingredient list not verified for this version.
Five capsules versus a premium four-capsule formula
Mars Men uses five capsules and Testogen four. That modest practical difference may matter to some buyers, but it should follow the ingredient decision. Both reviewed formulas list 100 mcg D3, so there is no vitamin D amount advantage for Testogen here.
We favour Testogen's named mineral forms, transparent full formulation and short other-ingredient list. Its development history since 2014 adds brand context, while the current ingredient specification does the real work in our recommendation.
The Testogen specification behind our recommendation

- 4 capsules; 13 individually declared active ingredients
- Main ingredients
- D-aspartic acid 2,025 mg; KSM-66 ashwagandha 200 mg; fenugreek 100 mg; Panax ginseng 100 mg; nettle root 80 mg
- Selected premium forms
- P5P B6; MK-7 K2; zinc monomethionine; magnesium bisglycinate and citrate; copper and boron bisglycinate
- Boron
- 5 mg per daily serving
- Other ingredients
- Vegetable-cellulose capsule and NuFLOW rice-hull ingredient
- Brand development
- Since 2014; Ultimate is the fourth-generation formula
These are formulation details, not a claim of superior results in a finished-product clinical trial. More ingredients and premium forms do not remove the need to assess suitability.
View Testogen ingredients and purchase optionsWhere TesTotal makes sense
TesTotal is the budget-conscious alternative if neither a tongkat-and-shilajit formula nor the premium Testogen specification is essential to your priorities. It provides a smaller two-capsule approach. Choose it because that simpler purchase fits, not because all products carrying a testosterone-support label should be expected to do the same thing.
- Two-capsule serving in the reviewed formula.
- D-aspartic acid: 1,176 mg; magnesium: 100 mg; boron: 4 mg.
- Includes P5P B6 and fenugreek extract; KSM-66 is not included.

Check the full label against medicines, medical conditions and other supplements before purchase. Testogen supplies 100 mcg (4,000 IU) D3, at the commonly used adult upper intake level; additional vitamin D needs to be counted. Stop use if an unwanted reaction occurs and seek appropriate advice. 1
