TESTOTAL / THE VALUE REVIEW
Advertisement feature by TesTotal. We benefit financially from sales of our top recommended products.
Roman Testosterone Support is a non-prescription supplement, distinct from testosterone treatment. Its relatively concentrated ingredient selection includes substantial maca and magnesium amounts. We prefer Testogen's broader formula, but the value comparison should acknowledge what Roman supplies more of.
Our first recommendation
Testogen Ultimate
Choose Testogen for our favoured broad combination. Roman is a more specific maca-and-ashwagandha preference; TesTotal is the budget-conscious route for a simpler budget.
See Testogen UltimateA shorter list can still contain substantial amounts
Roman lists 3,000 mg maca root powder, 600 mg ashwagandha extract and 350 mg magnesium. Those are not token entries. However, maca powder and a concentrated extract are different materials, and Roman's ashwagandha is not identified as KSM-66 in the reviewed specification.
Maca research also cautions against equating an improvement in sexual desire with a testosterone increase. A buyer should decide whether maca itself is wanted rather than assuming its presence proves the entire supplement's main promise. 1

Testogen Ultimate: 13 active ingredients. Mineral figures are nutrient amounts, not the weight of the full mineral compound.
Roman Testosterone Support: Includes calcium and sodium from the Supplement Facts panel, as well as the six prominently promoted ingredients.
Capsule and other ingredients
Testogen Ultimate: Vegetable-cellulose capsule and NuFLOW rice-hull ingredient.
Roman Testosterone Support: Microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, croscarmellose sodium, film coat (hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, hydroxypropyl cellulose), silica and magnesium stearate.
What Testogen offers for the extra breadth
Testogen adds D-aspartic acid, fenugreek, nettle, boron and K2 to its own selection. Roman provides more magnesium, but Testogen's magnesium and other minerals use different specified forms. Comparing the full design is more useful than awarding a point for every larger amount.
Roman uses four tablets and Testogen four capsules. That is a practical distinction without a numerical convenience advantage. We prefer Testogen for the broader formulation and simple other-ingredient list, while leaving room for someone who deliberately wants Roman's maca-heavy approach.

View Testogen ingredients and purchase optionsWhere TesTotal makes sense
TesTotal is worth considering if the real goal is an affordable daily formula rather than high maca or magnesium quantities. Its smaller two-capsule serving is a different formulation choice. It should be assessed on what it supplies, with Testogen remaining the preferred premium option rather than a price-only comparison with Roman.
- Two-capsule serving in the reviewed formula.
- D-aspartic acid: 1,176 mg; magnesium: 100 mg; boron: 4 mg.
- Includes P5P B6 and fenugreek extract; KSM-66 is not included.

Check the full label against medicines, medical conditions and other supplements before purchase. Testogen supplies 100 mcg (4,000 IU) D3, at the commonly used adult upper intake level; additional vitamin D needs to be counted. Stop use if an unwanted reaction occurs and seek appropriate advice. 2
Persistent symptoms should be assessed rather than assumed to mean low testosterone. These products do not replace diagnosis or prescribed treatment. 3
